Movie scores, video games, pop stars, digital audio production, social media, loops, world music… CYP explores it all. Set to begin in the Fall of 2026, Chicagoland Youth Pops will be redefining the youth orchestra experience. We combine the music that students actually listen to with the power, excitement, connection, and growth that come from playing in a student orchestra. Located in Buffalo Grove, CYP will bring together advanced middle and high school students from all over Chicago, the north, and the west suburbs for a musical opportunity never seen before in Illinois.
